JERRY'S EDSEL PARTS LLC WARRANTY POLICY
LIMITED WARRANTY
Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC ("Jerry's Edsel Parts," "we," "our," or "us") warrants that the products we manufacture and sell will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will perform under normal intended use for the applicable warranty period set forth below.
This warranty begins on the original purchase date and applies only to the original purchaser. Warranty coverage is non-transferable.
Our sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at our sole discretion, to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the defective product. No other remedy shall be available.
WARRANTY PERIODS
Lifetime Warranty
Applies solely to products specifically designated by Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC as carrying a lifetime warranty.
Coverage is limited to defects in materials and workmanship and premature failure under normal intended use.
Lifetime warranty coverage extends for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
One-Year Limited Warranty
Applies to new reproduction parts, manufactured components, and kits unless otherwise specified.
Warranty period: One (1) year from the original purchase date.
Coverage includes:
Manufacturing defects.
Defects in materials.
Premature failure under normal intended use.
Missing components reported within thirty (30) days of delivery.
Ninety-Day Limited Warranty
Applies to restored original components unless otherwise stated.
Warranty period: Ninety (90) days from the original purchase date.
Coverage includes:
Defects in workmanship associated with restoration.
Premature failure under normal intended use.
Missing components reported within thirty (30) days of delivery.
Thirty-Day Limited Warranty
Applies to used original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components and any products specifically designated as used parts.
Warranty period: Thirty (30) days from the original purchase date.
Coverage includes defects rendering the component unserviceable under normal intended use.
Because used components are vintage items and may exhibit normal age-related wear, cosmetic imperfections and evidence of previous use are not considered defects.
WHAT IS COVERED
Subject to the terms and exclusions contained herein, this warranty covers:
Defects in materials.
Defects in manufacturing.
Defects in workmanship.
Premature failure under normal intended use.
Missing components reported within thirty (30) days of delivery.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover:
Improper installation.
Incorrect application or vehicle compatibility.
Improper adjustment or setup.
Racing, competition, off-road, or commercial use.
Abuse, misuse, neglect, or accidents.
Modification, alteration, or unauthorized repair.
Damage resulting from improper storage.
Corrosion, oxidation, environmental exposure, or chemical exposure.
Wear items and normal wear and tear.
Cosmetic deterioration occurring after installation.
Paint, plating, finish, or color variations.
Damage caused by other vehicle components.
Damage caused by engine, drivetrain, suspension, electrical, or fuel system failures.
Failure caused by improper maintenance.
Damage occurring during installation or removal.
Labor costs of any kind.
Diagnostic costs.
Towing expenses.
Shipping costs.
Return shipping charges.
Loss of vehicle use.
Rental vehicle expenses.
Storage charges.
Lost profits.
Personal injury or property damage.
Consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive, or special damages.
Third-party installation charges.
Damage resulting from natural disasters or acts of God.
FITMENT AND APPEARANCE
Vintage automobiles frequently vary due to age, prior repairs, manufacturing tolerances, and modifications performed over many decades.
Accordingly:
Minor cosmetic variations are normal.
Surface texture, finish, and appearance may vary from original factory components.
Exact color matching is not guaranteed.
Minor fitting, adjustment, trimming, or alignment may be required.
Customers are solely responsible for verifying proper application and compatibility prior to installation.
Product photographs are representative and may not depict the exact item received.
The necessity for minor adjustment or fitting shall not constitute a defect.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
Prior to returning any product, customers must contact Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC.
Warranty claims must include:
Original order information.
Description of the issue.
Photographs clearly showing the alleged defect.
Any additional information requested by Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC.
Products returned without prior authorization may be refused.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC reserves the right to inspect the returned product before determining warranty eligibility.
Products that have been altered, disassembled, modified, or damaged after installation may be denied warranty coverage.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The maximum liability of Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC under any theory of recovery, including contract, negligence, strict liability, warranty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Under no circumstances shall Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC be liable for:
Labor expenses.
Installation or removal charges.
Vehicle downtime.
Loss of use.
Towing.
Lost profits.
Property damage.
Consequential damages.
Incidental damages.
Indirect damages.
Special damages.
Punitive damages.
DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Except for the express warranties stated herein, all products are sold "AS IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS" to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Any implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed and excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Where such disclaimers are prohibited by law, any implied warranties shall be limited to the duration of the applicable express warranty period.
INSTALLATION ACCEPTANCE
Installation, modification, or use of a product constitutes acceptance of the product and all terms and conditions contained in this warranty policy.
Customers are responsible for inspecting all products prior to installation.
Products that have been installed may not be eligible for return except where warranty coverage applies.
GOVERNING LAW
This warranty and any dispute arising out of or relating to the purchase or use of any product from Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC shall be governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict of law principles.
VENUE
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to any purchase from Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Mississippi, and the purchaser consents to the jurisdiction of such courts.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This warranty constitutes the entire warranty provided by Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC and supersedes any prior oral or written statements or representations.
No employee, representative, dealer, installer, or third party is authorized to modify or extend this warranty.
Jerry's Edsel Parts LLC reserves the right to revise or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
